A father’s quiet evening turns to sheer ordeal as he finds out that his son has mailed a wish letter to Santa.

For 20 minutes, this short film takes us back in time to the anti-communist Revolution of December 1989 in Romania. It is set in Timisoara, a few days after Ceausescu's bloody repression of the anti-communist demonstrations. A son’s letter to Santa turns his father’s evening into a thriller he did not ask for. It is the moment when the father discovers that his son has written a letter to Santa Claus saying that his father wished for the death of dictator Nicolae Ceauşescu.
