Meet the Muthuku Family
Carren Atieno Otieno
The Muthuku family lives in the Mukuru Kayaba slum of Nairobi, Kenya. Besides father and mother Muthuku, the family includes ten children, the youngest of whom is three months old while the oldest has reached the age of 26. In ten episodes of seven minutes each, we witness the ups and downs of the family’s existence. Five of the ten episodes can be seen at the festival.
