A group of refugees tries to reach a safe country in search for a better life.
They pay a smuggler to take them across the boarders in a fridge truck. However, the freezing temperature of the truck turns their hopes for a better future into a fierce struggle for survival.
Song Sparrow describes a very real situation using puppets to emphasise the lack of choice many refugees are faced with. Though the characters are not actually alive, the emotions involved certainly are. Song Sparrow hopes to inspire the audience to consider real-life refugees and ask the question: “Is it worse to stay than to go?”
