Cineville is valid for all regular film screenings at Filmhuis Den Haag, Theater aan het Spui and Theater Dakota. Read more about the ordering process below.
Ordering tickets
Online ticket sales
Cineville pass holders can order tickets for film screenings at Filmhuis Den Haag and Theater aan het Spui from Thursday 6 March on our website. During the ordering process, choose the ticket type ‘MtMF Cineville card (€ 0.00)’ and enter your personal card number.
Please note: Cineville tickets for screenings at Theater Dakota can be ordered through the Theater Dakota website or at the Theater Dakota box office. You validate these tickets at Theater Dakota, and not at the festival box office at Theater aan het Spui.
Number of reservations
With your Cineville pass, you can reserve tickets for up to 10 screenings during the Movies that Matter Festival. Have you also reserved tickets for screenings outside Movies that Matter? Please note that there is a limit of 15 reservations per person for Cinevillers, both for screenings inside and outside the festival.
Exceptions
It is not possible to order a ticket for an On Demand film screening, the Justice Frame Masterclass or combi-tickets (such as Earth at Stake Special, the HUMAN Day, the Trouw Afternoon, the NPODoc Selection, The Day of De Groene, Our Colonial History Special, the Teachers’ Day and the Justice Frame Day) with your Cineville card. However, in most cases you can order tickets with your Cineville card for the individual screenings that are part of the special.
Festival box office at Theater aan het Spui
During the festival period from Friday 21 March to Saturday 29 March, Cineville tickets for screenings at Filmhuis Den Haag and Theater aan het Spui on the day itself can also be ordered through the festival box office. The festival box office is located in the foyer of Theater aan het Spui and opens every day half an hour before the start of the first screening. Please note that it can be busy at the box office on location and arrive on time.
Your visit
Have you ordered a Cineville ticket for a screening in Filmhuis Den Haag or Theater aan het Spui online? Then you can have your ticket scanned directly at the screening room from 15 minutes before the start of the screening. Please have your Cineville card ready.
You do not need to activate your online Cineville ticket at the festival box office in the foyer of Theater aan het Spui. The ticket will be scanned and activated at the entrance of the screening room.
Cancelling Cineville tickets
Have you ordered a Cineville ticket online and unfortunately you can’t come to the screening after all? Cineville tickets can be cancelled via the website. Go to the shopping basket. Log in to your account. Under ‘My Account’ you will find ‘Order history’. Here you can cancel the relevant order.
