Using film clips from the Camera Justitia programme, we will discuss current legal issues with Fabricio Guariglia, former Director of the Prosecution Division of the International Criminal Court.
Fabricio Guariglia was Director of the Prosecution Division of the International Criminal Court from 2014-2022. Currently, he is the Director of International Development Law Organization (IDLO). Dr. Guariglia has published extensively in the areas of international criminal law, comparative criminal law and human rights law, including chapters in leading commentaries to the Rome Statute.
The Masterclass will be moderated by Marieke de Hoon, Assistant Professor of (International) Criminal Law. In her research and teaching she focuses on international law, international criminal law, national prosecution of international crimes and human rights. She is also Director Netherlands Office and Senior Counsel at the Public International Law & Policy Group, where she provides pro bono legal assistance in (post-)conflict situations.
