Inside Gaza
Hélène Lam Trong, Julia Hammett-Jamart & Yann Ollivier
Logline
The Gaza war is the deadliest conflict on record for journalists. Trapped in a zone to which the rest of the world has been denied free access, journalists themselves became targets. Inside Gaza tells their story & invites reflection on press freedom.
Impact Statement
“Through a series of actions which will coincide with the film’s release in May and peak on the “International Day to End Impunity for Crimes Against Journalists” in November 2025, the Inside Gaza impact campaign seeks to promote understanding that a threat to free press is a threat to democracy and, by extension, to invite audiences to become involved in a number of concrete initiatives to improve conditions for press safety and freedom. Confirmed impact partners: Agence France-Presse; Reporters Sans Frontières. We are keen to partner with other governmental and non-governmental organisations whose objectives are aligned with our own.”
