This feature film is part of a series with which directors, activists and international stars try to put the worldwide trafficking of children and children's prostitution on the public agenda.Patrick is an American art smuggler who, due to engine problems, gets stuck in the notorious prostitute neighborhood K11 in Phnom Phen. This is where he meets Holly, a young Vietnamese girl who was sold by her poor family. She is twelve years old and already a prostitute. Patrick tries to rescue her from the brothel where she is forced to work as a sex slave. Patrick's search for Holly and Holly?s undiminished attempts to escape her fate lead the viewer through the beautiful but ruthless Cambodia.Holly is screened as part of the K11 project and the Redlight Children campaign, which call attention to child trafficking and -prostitution. Initiator and Holly-screenwriter Guy Jacobson will give a presentation of the project and the campaign in De Balie on Sunday 18th March at 7.15 p.m..
